Our school celebrated Saudi Flag Day with engaging activities. They expressed patriotism by creating beautiful flag-themed art designs, wearing green clothes and traditional costumes, and participating in classroom presentations. Through these activities, students learned about the history and significance of the Saudi flag in a fun and interactive way, making the celebration both educational and memorable.

Through an exciting partnership with NuVu Studios (Boston), our Grade 6 CCP students are incorporating innovative design thinking to upcycle school waste materials into creative and practical installations. In just one day, their recycling bin collected over 50 plastic bottles—making Al Rowad “greener” and more sustainable!

Ramadhan Celebrations with Joy, Tradition, and Giving

The lower grades (4-6) joyfully welcomed the holy month of Ramadan by decorating their classrooms and sharing traditional Ramadan gestures such as Miswak. They dressed in Ramadan Galabiyas and embraced the spirit of giving by donating various supplies to create Ramadan baskets, which were distributed to school maids.

Lower Grades Celebrate International Women’s Day with Gratitude

Students from Grades 4 to 6 marked International Women’s Day with heartfelt appreciation for the dedicated employees of the school, recognizing their hard work and contributions. As part of the celebration, each student received a candle from the school—a symbolic gift to present to their mothers as a token of love and gratitude for their support and care. This special gesture reinforced the importance of recognizing and honoring the incredible women in their lives.
